Thoroughly Modern Millie Jr.
Based on the Tony Award-winning musical and Academy Award-winning film, a small town girl searches for a new life under the bright lights of 1920s New York City.
Directed by Sandra Harman
Musical Direction by Melissa Beilby
Choreography by Lyndon Steele
It’s 1922 in New York City, and a young Millie Dillmount has just moved to the Big Apple in search of a new life. Her grand plan is to find a job as a secretary for a wealthy man and then marry him. However, her plan goes completely awry. Millie’s wealthy boss is slow in proposing marriage, and the man she actually falls in love with doesn’t have a dime to his name — or so he tells her. What’s a small town girl to do?

Millie is the sweet, classic ingénue with pluck. Millie must also have charisma, a great sense of comedy, good acting skills and be able to hold her own as a dancer.
Jimmy is our male counterpart to Millie. Self-assured and cocky, but in a cute, goofy sort of way.
Mrs. Meers is the villain of our story. Think Cruella DeVille meets Miss Hannigan. Gender: Female
Miss Dorothy is the perfect role for a young lady with a voice that is more classical than Broadway. She should be attractive, a good actress and should contrast physically with Millie.
Miss Flannery is the office manager. She’s uptight (think librarian) and stern, a real no-nonsense kind of gal.
Ching Ho and Bun Foo
Ching Ho and Bun Foo are brothers and emigrants from China. These two are working to bring their dear mother to the United States from China.
Trevor Graydon the Third
Trevor Graydon the Third is Millie’s boss and she’s determined to marry him.
Hotel Priscilla Girls
The Hotel Priscilla Girls are the fellow boarders at the Hotel Priscilla.
Mama is Ching Ho and Bun Foo’s mother from China. She makes a surprise cameo appearance during the finale of the show.
