
Best friends Poppy and Anna are enjoying their night when they realise they have an assignment due tomorrow.
Luckily, Poppy’s grandfather is a mad scientist with a Time Machine in his basement! This incredible invention should be able to solve all their problems… or so they think.
Featuring music from the 60s, 80s and now, Chrononauts is set to be a fun-filled adventure with a unique role for everyone!
Casting Day
A Casting Day will be held on Sunday, 10 January 2021 — from 9am to 12pm — during which participants are allocated a unique role written by the show’s writer, Julia Cox.
A simple skills test will be conducted at Casting Day to determine each cast member’s role within the show.

Rehearsal Week — January 2021 School Holidays
An intensive, 5-day Rehearsal Week will take place from Monday, 18 January to Friday, 22 January — during the January school holidays.
During Rehearsal Week, cast members will be required from 9am to 4pm, daily. They are given frequent meal and rest breaks. Please note — due to COVID-19 safety precautions, meals will not be provided during Rehearsal Week.
Performances
There will be four performances of Chrononauts at the conclusion of Rehearsal Week:
- Friday, 22 January — 7pm
- Saturday, 23 January — 2pm
- Saturday, 23 January — 7pm
- Sunday, 24 January — 6pm
Cast Age Range
5 – 14 years
Financial Commitment
A fee of $275 applies to each cast member. This fee covers rehearsal materials and tutoring daily during the January school holidays Rehearsal Week.
